Arpachay State Nature Reserve (68,911 ha) is a specially protected natural area covering 68,911 hectares. This reserve was established in 1992, and its main purpose is to protect rare animal and plant species. It contains a variety of natural landscapes, such as rivers, forests, and wetlands. Periodic scientific research and ecological monitoring are conducted in the reserve. Tourism and walking activities open to the public are limited in the area. As a temporary reserve, its primary task is to protect the environment and biodiversity.
