Mosque is a sacred building where Muslims gather to worship. In mosques, there is a special area designated for prayer, as well as a pulpit and a mihrab. Many mosques also have minarets nearby, from which the call to prayer is announced. In Azerbaijan, mosques are used both for worship and for religious events. Mosques play a central and important role in Islam. People of all age groups come here to pray and gather.
