A Mosque is considered a Muslim temple built for worship and prayer. In Mosques, people perform prayers, participate in religious ceremonies, and spend time together. Many Mosques have a minaret from which the call to prayer is announced. Mosques are also commonly used for administrative and social activities. In Azerbaijan, Mosques can be found in every city and village. Mosques and minarets are an important part of religious and cultural heritage.
