Cemetery is the name given to the place where people are buried. A cemetery is mainly an area where the graves of deceased individuals are located. In Azerbaijan, cemeteries exist in both cities and villages and are places visited by the public. Usually, relatives of the deceased come here to remember them. Cemeteries are managed by the state and municipalities, and their protection and cleanliness are ensured. A cemetery is not a company or institution, but a social place.
