Head of Auto

Why this role

gün.az is hiring a Head of Auto for the Bazar classifieds platform. The head is responsible for the entire section: attracting car showrooms and dealers, listing quality, accuracy of mileage and prices, and commercial terms for showrooms.

Responsibilities

• Attract car showrooms, official dealers, and importers to Bazar: meetings, negotiations, and business account onboarding.
• Develop the section structure: a directory of makes and models, requirements for listings and photos.
• Monitor listing quality: accuracy and identification of dishonest sellers.
• Prepare a commercial proposal for car showrooms for 2027.
• Build and lead the section team (2027).

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in car sales in Baku: a car showroom, official dealer, or importer.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a showroom, sales department, or team.
• Personal contacts with car showroom owners and dealership managers in Baku.
• Results supported by figures: sales volume, share by make, department growth.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and working proficiency in Russian.
• Preferred: knowledge of the used-car market and sales experience through online channels.
