Absheron National Park is a protected natural area located in the southeast of the Absheron Peninsula, near Baku. It was created to preserve unique plants and animals as well as to develop ecotourism.
History:
Established on February 8, 2005, on the basis of a previously existing reserve.
Team:
Absheron National Park, like all national parks in Azerbaijan, is managed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Location and Area
Situated in the Shah Dili area, at the southeastern tip of the Absheron Peninsula, approximately 60 km from central Baku. The park covers 783 hectares. Semi-arid climate, desert and semi-desert landscapes, sand dunes, and coastal ecosystems.Excursions and Tours
