Absheron National Park is a protected natural area located in the southeast of the Absheron Peninsula, near Baku. It was created to preserve unique plants and animals as well as to develop ecotourism.
History:
Established on February 8, 2005, on the basis of a previously existing reserve.
Team:
Absheron National Park, like all national parks in Azerbaijan, is managed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
