Aghdam Juma Mosque (Architect Karbalayi Safi Khan) was built at the end of the 19th century by architect Karbalayi Safi Khan Karabakhi. The mosque has two minarets and a spacious prayer hall. This historic mosque is considered one of the main religious monuments of the city of Aghdam. Although it did not function during the Soviet era, restoration work has since begun. The building is a beautiful example of the Karabakh architectural style. Today, the mosque is an interesting place for visitors and history enthusiasts.
