Aghdam Fortress is an ancient defensive structure located in the city of Aghdam. This fortress was built at the beginning of the 19th century and is among the historical monuments of the region. The main purpose of the fortress was to protect the city from external attacks. Although it is currently in a dilapidated state, it attracts the interest of tourists and historians. Aghdam Fortress is considered one of Azerbaijan's architectural gems. Its preservation and restoration are regarded as important.
