Agdara is a city located in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. The city was established in the 1930s and functioned as an industrial center for a long time. It is mainly known for its mining and agricultural sectors. As a result of the war in the 1990s, it was almost emptied. Currently, the city is administratively part of the Tartar district and restoration work is underway. Agdara is one of the important cities of Azerbaijan in terms of its history and economy.
