Aggol is a large lake located in the south-central part of Azerbaijan. This lake is mainly filled with fresh water and was formed naturally. Aggol National Park is situated here and serves as a sanctuary for various bird species. The park also attracts tourists due to its ecological significance. Around the lake, wetlands and aquatic plants are widespread. It is used by the local population primarily for fishing and observation purposes.
