Albanian Church is an ancient Christian church belonging to Caucasian Albania. The church was built in the region between the 4th and 7th centuries. Like mosques and village churches, it served as a religious center for local communities. The churches are mainly located in the western part of Azerbaijan and in Dagestan. Stone and brick materials were used in the construction of the buildings. Albanian Church is considered one of the important monuments of Azerbaijani history and religious culture.
