The Albanian Church is a Christian place of worship that emerged in ancient Caucasian Albania. These churches are mainly found in the territory of Northern Azerbaijan and date back to the 6th-7th centuries. The Albanian Churches were built of stone and reflect local traditions in their architecture. These historic churches are an important part of the cultural and religious heritage of Azerbaijan. In some regions, the churches are still visited today and restoration work is being carried out.
