The Albanian Church refers to Christian places of worship belonging to ancient Caucasian Albania. These churches were mainly built in the northwestern regions of Azerbaijan and date back to the early centuries AD. After Christianity became the official religion of Caucasian Albania, numerous Albanian Churches were constructed. To this day, some of these churches have collapsed, while others have been preserved as historical monuments. From an architectural perspective, Albanian Churches are considered rare and interesting examples in the Caucasus. These churches are mostly located in the villages of Kish, Khudavang, and Lekit.
