Pharmacy is a specialized store that sells medicines and medical products. In Azerbaijan, pharmacy chains consist of pharmacy stores owned by various pharmaceutical companies. Here, people can buy both prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and medical supplies. Pharmacies also sell cosmetic products and some necessary medical items for children. Some pharmacy chains also provide healthcare services and consultations. Among the most well-known pharmacy chains in Azerbaijan are “Zəfəran,” “Buta,” and “Avrora.”
