Ashagi Aralyg Municipality is located in the Julfa District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. Municipalities are local self-government bodies and manage local community affairs. Ashagi Aralyg Municipality is responsible for the village’s social, cultural, and economic matters. Its main purpose is the welfare of the population and the development of the village infrastructure. Residents living within the municipality’s territory can participate in making local decisions.
