Ashagi Maralyan is a village located in the Jabrayil district of Azerbaijan. The population of the village is mainly engaged in agriculture. The climate is semi-desert and dry subtropical, so mostly grain and melon crops are cultivated. At one time, the village was under occupation, but restoration work has been carried out since its liberation. There is a school and other social facilities nearby. Ashagi Maralyan is one of the administrative territorial units of the Jabrayil district.
