Ashagi Yayji Municipality is located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This municipality belongs to the Babek district and is a rural self-governing body. Its main duty is to organize local administration of the village and meet the social needs of the population. The municipality carries out local infrastructure services and landscaping works. The population here is mainly engaged in agriculture.
