Aul Settlement (11th–13th centuries) were small communities where people lived during the 11th to 13th centuries. They were located in mountainous or plain areas and engaged in agriculture. In the Aul Settlements, houses were usually built of wood and stone-like materials, and the community maintained close connections. These settlements were recognized as the main residential areas in the Middle Ages.
