Akhmachay Lake is a small natural lake located in the Republic of Azerbaijan. This lake is situated in the Tovuz district, near the Akhmachay River. The area surrounding the lake is mainly covered with forest and small hills. Akhmachay Lake is known as a recreational spot for locals thanks to its clean water and tranquil nature. It is also used for fishing and picnics. Although the lake is not large in surface area or depth, it holds an important place for the ecosystem.
