Republican Narcological Dispensary is a state medical institution specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with addictions alcohol drugs and others The center operates under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
History:
Established in 1986 as the Republican Narcological Dispensary Zykh Baku
Transformed into the Republican Narcological Center by Order No 63 of the Ministry of Health dated 14 06 2011
Gained the status of a public legal entity on December 20 2019 based on decision No 165 of the Ministry’s Collegium
In June 2018 a new complex of 4 buildings was commissioned in the Mashtaga settlement equipped to modern standards

As part of the national drug control program 2019–2024 the center works with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan to hold lessons in schools universities and prisons They explain the harm drugs cause to health and society

In October 2023 an excursion was arranged for youth organizations to inform them about treatment rehabilitation and methadone substitution programs

In October 2022 together with the New Azerbaijan Party and youth groups a social forum Social activity against bad habits was held at Baku Slavic University
