Baku Olympic Stadium (Azerbaijani: Bakı Olimpiya Stadionu) is the largest stadium in Azerbaijan, with a seating capacity of 69,870. It meets international standards set by UEFA, FIFA, and the IAAF.
History:
Opened on March 6, 2015, in time for the inaugural European Games.
Designed by Heerim Architects & Planners (concept); detailed development in cooperation with Thornton Tomasetti.
Main contractor: Turkish company Tekfen Construction.

Justin Timberlake Concert
On July 27, 2025, the Baku Olympic Stadium hosted a concert by global pop icon Justin Timberlake. In connection with the event, Baku Metro extended its operating hours until 2:00 AM, and traffic restrictions were implemented in the stadium area.Preparation for COP29
In November 2024, the Baku Olympic Stadium was selected as the venue for the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inspected the preparation of the facilities, including mini electric vehicles, e-buses, and other transport solutions, as well as the official negotiation zone.
