  • Baku Court of Appeal - a second-instance court that reviews appeals from first-instance courts in civil, criminal, administrative, and economic cases. The court is divided into four chambers: civil, criminal, military, and administrative-economic.

    The court began its operations on July 16, 2007.

    The court is integrated into reforms aimed at improving efficiency and transparency: such as equipment modernization, staff expansion, and performance evaluation of judges — measures focused on enhancing justice quality and public trust.
