Bala Shamlik is a village located in the Sheki district of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This village is situated at the foothills of the mountains, in an area close to natural beauties. The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. Bala Shamlik is located near the city of Sheki and is one of the oldest villages in the region. The village has a school and other social facilities. Its residents lead a simple lifestyle and remain faithful to local traditions and customs.
