At the Cocoon Collection Point, the cocoons are weighed, cleaned of debris, and undergo initial processing. Various agricultural and industrial companies manage and use these centers. The quality of the cocoons is checked at the center and then sent to enterprises. These places play an important role in sericulture in Azerbaijan.
