Bighir is a large village-type settlement located in the Qabala district of Azerbaijan. Agriculture and animal husbandry are mainly developed here. The population consists mostly of Azerbaijanis, and the village has its own unique customs and traditions. There is a school, a post office, and a cultural center operating in Bighir.
