Mount Boyuk Kirs (2,724.2 m) is a high mountain peak located in the Karabakh range. The mountain is mainly situated on the border of the Lachin and Qubadli districts. Mount Boyuk Kirs is considered one of Azerbaijan’s famous natural landscapes. Various species of plants and animals live on the slopes of the mountain. The wide panoramas visible from here are attractive to tourists and nature lovers. In the winter months, snow remains here, and the area can sometimes become difficult to traverse.
