BP Azerbaijan is a subsidiary of the British company BP, operating in Azerbaijan since 1992 through BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited, headquartered in Baku. The company is involved in the country’s largest oil and gas projects, including Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli (ACG), Shah Deniz, Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, and the South Caucasus Pipeline.
History: BP began its operations in Azerbaijan in June 1992.

Since the beginning of its operations, BP and its partners have invested approximately $84 billion in oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan
In 2025, BP approved a $2.9 billion investment to expand the Shah Deniz gas field, aiming to increase production by 50 billion m³ of gas and 25 million barrels of condensate by 2028–2030
In September 2024, BP signed a memorandum of understanding with SOCAR to expand its involvement in the Karabagh and Ashrafi–Dan Ulduzu–Aypara exploration blocks

BP and its partners have implemented large-scale social programs in Azerbaijan:
The Build Your Future project since 2017 provides education and support to talented youth from vulnerable families Between 2023 and 2025 over 500 students were admitted to universities after participating in the program
Community development programs include infrastructure projects vocational training and support for small businesses and teachers in rural areas such as Tovuz and Kurdamir
In 2024 BP increased its funding for social projects in the country

June 2025 — The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with BP CEO Murray Auchincloss to discuss cooperation prospects with SOCAR and project plans in the liberated territories.
