Chalxanqala Fortress is an ancient defensive structure located in the Sharur district of Azerbaijan. The fortress dates back to approximately the 2nd millennium BC. It was built with an octagonal design and sturdy stone walls. Ancient people protected themselves and their belongings here. Throughout history, Chalxanqala Fortress was used to defend the region. This fortress holds great archaeological and historical significance.
