Tea House is a traditional public place in Azerbaijan where people drink tea and relax. Tea Houses are mostly widespread in cities and villages and are used for social gatherings. Here, tea, sugar, baklava, and other national sweets are usually served. Tea Houses are simple and cozy places where friends and relatives come together and have conversations. Inside, tea prepared in ornate teapots is served on special trays. Sometimes, games such as dominoes and backgammon are also played in Tea Houses.
