Teahouse is a traditional place for drinking tea in Azerbaijan and some other countries. Tea houses mainly serve tea, sugar, and simple meals. Friends gather here, have conversations, and play backgammon and dominoes. Teahouses are usually public places frequented more by men. They are widespread in both villages and cities and are an integral part of daily life. Inside, there are simple tables and chairs, samovars, and tea glasses.
