Teahouse is a traditional place for drinking tea in Azerbaijan, where people gather to drink tea and chat. Mainly, brewed tea, sweets, and light meals are offered here. In teahouses, friends and neighbors come together to spend time and play various games. Most often, the customers are men, but nowadays, teahouses are also open to women. Teahouses are an essential part of social life in both cities and villages.
