Jalil Mammadguluzade State Musical Drama Theatre of Nakhchivan is an ancient theatre institution operating in Nakhchivan. The theatre was established in 1883 and is one of the first professional theatres in Azerbaijan. Both musical and dramatic performances are staged here. The theatre presents local and classical works to audiences. At various times, many well-known actors have performed on this stage. The theatre is an important part of the cultural life of Nakhchivan.
