Chilgez (2,358.5 m)

Chilgez (2,358.5 m) is a high mountain peak located in the Quba district of Azerbaijan. The peak is situated on the main ridge of the Greater Caucasus mountain range. The area surrounding Chilgez mountain is notable for its rocky terrain, steep slopes, and rich natural scenery. A beautiful panorama opens up from here, making it one of the favorite destinations for climbers. There are low forests and subalpine meadows in the vicinity. Since the ascent to the peak is difficult, mainly experienced tourists head here.
