Chiraggala is an ancient historical monument of Azerbaijan and is located in the Shabran district. This fortress, situated at the summit of Mount Garadag, served a defensive purpose. It was built because it is easy to monitor and defend the surrounding area from this position. Constructed in the Middle Ages, it held strategic importance. Today, it is considered an interesting destination for tourists. Part of the fortress’s walls has been preserved to this day.
