Chiraggala Fortress (Shabran) is a historical defensive structure located in the Shabran district of Azerbaijan. The fortress was built in the 5th–6th centuries, and its main purpose was to protect the region from enemies. It is situated in a dense forest and high mountainous area, which gives it a natural defensive advantage. The walls of the fortress are thick and very strong, and some sections have survived intact to this day. Chiraggala Fortress is an example of ancient defensive architecture and is an interesting place for history enthusiasts.
