Circular Tower (Zindan, 18th century) is a defensive structure located in the Icherisheher district of Baku. This historic tower was built in the 18th century for defensive purposes. It has a circular shape and was once used both as a tower and as a prison. Distinguished by its architectural style, the building is surrounded by thick stone walls. Circular Tower was used in the protection of the city and during sieges. This monument is considered one of the important defensive structures of Icherisheher.
