Dashalty State Nature Sanctuary (450 ha) is located in the Shusha district of Azerbaijan and covers an area of 450 hectares. This sanctuary was established in 1988 and its main purpose is to protect nature as well as rare plant and animal species. The area is primarily covered with forests, and it contains endemic and rare species. Human activity is restricted in the sanctuary, and priority is given to the protection of the environment. Dashalty State Nature Sanctuary (450 ha) has the status of a temporary nature reserve and is used only for scientific research purposes.
