Dashkasan is a village and an urban-type settlement located in the western part of Azerbaijan. It is also the administrative center of the Dashkasan district. The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. The region is famous for its rich iron ore deposits, and mining activities are occasionally carried out here. The air, nature, and mountains of Dashkasan are very beautiful. It is an interesting place both for locals and visitors.
