Demirchi (samovars, pans, etc.) is a craftsman skilled in shaping iron and metal items. Such workshops in Azerbaijan are engaged in the production and sometimes repair of household items like samovars, pans, vases, and teapots. The artisans create handmade products, usually from copper and steel. Demirchi masters accept orders and produce items in different sizes and designs according to customers’ requests. This craft is one of the traditional folk arts and is passed down in many families from generation to generation. Repair (various) services are also provided, and old items are restored.
