The State Fire Protection Department is a government agency responsible for preventing and extinguishing fires in the country. This department is part of the structure of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and its main area of activity is ensuring public safety. Through its fire stations, it responds quickly to incidents and provides prompt intervention in case of fires. The department inspects fire safety both in residential areas and industrial facilities and conducts public awareness activities. It is the first government service to respond to emergency fire incidents in Azerbaijan.
