Eldar Pine State Nature Reserve (1686 ha) is a protected natural area covering 1,686 hectares. The reserve is located in the Gazakh district of Azerbaijan and was established in 2004. Its main purpose is to protect the Eldar pine and other rare plant species. Many native animal and plant species live here. Nature reserves are protected by the state and serve to preserve ecological values. Since the Eldar pine forests are rare, this area requires special protection.
