Aniq Fortress is an ancient defensive structure located in the Qakh district of Azerbaijan. The fortress was built in the Middle Ages to protect the local population from enemy attacks. Aniq Fortress was constructed from stone and rises at a strategic point in the region. This fortress is considered significant from both an archaeological and historical perspective. Although the fortress is now partially ruined, it is still visited with interest by tourists.
