Farhad Canal is an ancient water canal located in the Nakhchivan region. This canal was constructed thousands of years ago to irrigate farmland. Farhad Canal mainly distributes local spring and river waters to villages. It is still in operation today and holds great importance for the local population. From a historical perspective, Farhad Canal is among Azerbaijan’s significant irrigation structures.
