Goytapa is a village located in the Jalilabad district. This village is situated in the south of Azerbaijan, on the Lankaran-Astara plain. The population is mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. Tea plantations and hazelnut orchards are widespread near Goytapa. There is a school, a medical center, and several small shops operating here. The villagers are close and friendly with one another in their daily lives.
