Hekeri village is located in the Zangilan district of Azerbaijan. This village is part of the Karabakh region and was under occupation for many years. Hekeri village is mainly engaged in agriculture. In recent years, after its liberation, restoration work has been carried out here. The Hekeri river flows near the village and gives its name to the area.
