Heydar Aliyev Statue is a monument erected in memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people. This statue is located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Baku and was unveiled in 2012. The authors of the monument’s design are sculptor Sakit Mammadov and architect Adil Rustamov. The statue is made of bronze, and a large landscaped area has been created around it. This monument expresses people's respect and reverence for the leader.
