Heydar Mosque is located in Baku and is one of the largest mosques in Azerbaijan. The mosque was opened in 2014 and is an example of modern Islamic architecture. Thousands of people can pray here at the same time, and the mosque has two tall minarets. Major religious ceremonies are held at Heydar Mosque, and special arrangements have also been made for public events. The mosque is open to both the Muslim community and tourists.
