Heydar Mosque, located in Baku, is one of the largest mosques in Azerbaijan. The mosque was opened in 2014 and was built in a modern architectural style. It has two tall minarets and a large dome. Thousands of people can pray here at the same time. The mosque is intended for religious worship and communal events. Inside, there are separate prayer areas for men and women.
