Palace of Ibrahim Khan is a historical defensive structure located in the city of Shusha. This fortress was built at the end of the 18th century by Ibrahim Khalil Khan, the Khan of Karabakh. The palace, designed as a castle-type residence, was constructed for both living and defensive purposes. The building’s solid walls and towers played an important role in its defense. The palace served as one of the main administrative and governmental centers of the Karabakh Khanate. This structure is considered one of the interesting examples of Azerbaijani architecture.
