Israfil Agha Bathhouse is a historical bathhouse built in the 19th century in the city of Sheki. Although this bathhouse is considered a part of the city’s architectural heritage, it now holds special significance from both a touristic and cultural perspective. The architecture of the building is based on the traditional style of its period and local stone materials were used in its construction. At the time, it served as the primary place for hygiene and social gatherings for the neighborhood residents. Israfil Agha Bathhouse is considered one of the ancient civil structures of Sheki city. The services provided were mainly accepted as public bathing and as a civil facility.
